no fine print · straight answersHow does the pricing actually work?
Each plan is a monthly base subscription with a set number of Lab Units (LU) included — 350 LU on Discover (₹2,750), 1,050 LU on Develop (₹9,050), 2,450 LU on Scale (₹20,675).
In quiet months, you only pay the base. In build months, you can top up extra LU based on actual task usage. Every task is estimated and approved before it runs — nothing gets charged without your one-click approval.
Is this for D2C founders or for big brands?
Both — but most of our customers are D2C founders shipping their first 1–10 products. The platform grows with you. Larger brands run on the same system, just at the Scale tier with custom scope. Running a portfolio? Talk to us →
Which plan should I start with?
Start with Discover if you want product thinking, research, and formulation direction before committing to lab work. Move to Develop when you’re ready to run structured R&D, scientist review, and prototype planning. Choose Scale when Bettrlabs is your R&D second brain across categories, labs, sourcing, and launch programs.
What’s a Lab Unit?
A Lab Unit (LU) is the credit that powers every task inside Bettrlabs — research, formulation, compliance, scientist review, lab coordination, prototype support, and launch work. Your plan’s monthly base includes a set number of LU. In quiet months you don’t spend them all — and that’s fine. In build months when you need more, top up only what you actually use.
What happens if I run out of LUs mid-month?
Every task is estimated before it runs. Nothing leaves your wallet without your one-click approval. If you run out, you can top up in 1 click — or wait for next month’s refill. Your work doesn’t get billed without you saying yes.
Can I cancel anytime? What happens to my data?
Yes. Discover and Develop run month-to-month — cancel anytime and you keep what you’ve built. Scale includes a short minimum term confirmed during onboarding. Your data, your IP, yours forever — formulations, briefs, compliance letters, label drafts, spec sheets, and your living Product Passport all export with you on exit.
How does pricing work for international currencies?
Prices are anchored in USD and shown in INR via the current FX rate (toggle the currency pill above). Domestic India billing carries 18% GST where applicable. International customers are billed in USD with no payment buffer — the price you see is the price you pay.
